Collection of Information
Information You Provide to Us
We collect information you provide directly to us, such as when you create or modify your account, request on-demand services, contact customer support, or otherwise communicate with us. This information may include: name, email, phone number, postal address, profile picture, payment method, items requested (for delivery services), delivery notes, and other information you choose to provide.
Information Collection and Use
When you use our Services, we collect information about you in the following general categories:
Personal Information: The following information is required to start using our platform / services:
- Company particulars - Certificate of Incorporation / PAN Card / Telephone Bill / Company Logo and others where appropriate
- Personal particulars - ID proof / Passport / Driver's license number and others where appropriate
- Vehicle particulars - Registration certificate / Fitness certificate / Tax paid certificate / Road Permits and others where appropriate
- Contact details - Phone number, office address, residence address, email address, and others where appropriate
- Additional information may be required prior to the acceptance of your registration with us based on our discretion, should the need arise for further verification of your identity, be it personal, company or third party particulars.
Location Information: When you use our services for goods transportation or delivery, we collect precise location data about the vehicle from the TRANSO App used by the Driver. Our system will collect location data from sources such as GPS, Wi-Fi and cell towers once you install the App and consent to the App's tracking the device location. You may choose to stop our collection of location data through the settings that we provide in the App, through the device settings or by removing the App from your phone. Disabling location sharing on the mobile device will limit your ability to use certain features of our platform / services.
Contacts Information: For some of the functionality of our App, The App will have access to the address book on your device. We may access and store names and contact information from your address book to facilitate functionalities of the App / Our Services and for other purposes described in this policy.
Transaction Information: We collect transaction details related to your use of our Services, including the type of service requested, date and time the service was provided, type and quantity of goods hauled, amount charged, distance traveled, and other related transaction details.
Cookies are small pieces of data that are stored on your mobile phone, computer, or other device. Pixels, often used in connection with cookies, are small instances of code placed in webpages that do things like allow another server to measure how frequently webpages are viewed and used.
Device Information: We may collect information about your mobile device, including, for example, the hardware model, operating system and version, software and file names and versions, preferred language, unique device identifier, advertising identifiers, serial number, device motion information, and mobile network information.
Log Information: When you interact with the platform / services, we collect server logs, which may include information like device IP address, access dates and times, app features or pages viewed, app crashes and other system activity, type of browser, and the third-party site or service you were using before interacting with our platform / services.
Use of Information
We may use the information we collect about you / your company to:
Provide, maintain, and improve our platform / services, including, for example, to facilitate payments, send receipts, provide products and services you request (and send related information), develop new features, provide customer support to Users and Drivers, develop safety features, authenticate users, and send product updates and administrative messages;
Perform internal operations, including, for example, to prevent fraud and abuse of our platform / services; to troubleshoot software bugs and operational problems; to conduct data analysis, testing, and research; and to monitor and analyze usage and activity trends;
Send or facilitate communications between you the carrier, the shipper and the driver, such as estimated times of arrival (ETAs), Delay alerts, SOS, Breakdown or any other related information.
Send you communications we think will be of interest to you, including information about products, services, promotions, news, and events of Ezyloads / TRANSO and other companies, where permissible and according to local applicable laws; and to process contest, sweepstake, or other promotion entries and fulfill any related awards;
Personalize and improve the platform / services, including to provide or recommend features, content, social connections, referrals, and advertisements.
We may transfer the information described in this Policy to, and process and store it in, India and other countries, some of which may have less protective data protection laws than the region in which you reside. Where this is the case, we will take appropriate measures to protect your personal information in accordance with this Policy.
Sharing of Information
We may share the information we collect about you as described in this Policy or as described at the time of collection or sharing, including as follows:
Through Our Services
We may share your information:
With Transporters / Goods Carriers / Fleet Owners / Transport Brokers / Transport Agents to enable them to provide the required services. For example, we share your name / company name, phone numbers, photo / logo (if you provide one), average rating, and address details of pickup and/or drop-off locations to enable them to quote and perform the service requested;
With Drivers to enable them to perform the required / assigned services. For example, we share your name, Phone numbers, photo (if you provide one), average rating, and address details of pickup and/or drop-off locations with Drivers;
With Shippers to enable them to place a request for the required services. For example, we share your name / company name, Phone numbers, photo / logo (if you provide one), average rating, Contact and Address details and the vehicle location proximity information with the Shippers;
With verification service providers to verify the authenticity of the user / business.
With third parties to provide you a service you requested through a partnership or promotional offering made by a third party or us;
With the general public if you submit content in a public forum, such as blog comments, social media posts, or other features of our platform / services that are viewable by the general public; and
With third parties with whom you choose to let us share information, for example other apps or websites that integrate with our API or platform / services, or those with an API or Service with which we integrate;
We may also share your information:
With Ezyloads Logistics Pvt. Ltd. subsidiaries and affiliated entities that provide services or conduct data processing on our behalf, or for data centralization and / or logistics purposes;
With service providers, consultants, solution partners, marketing partners, and other service providers who need access to such information to carry out work on our behalf (e.g. information processing and storage, provide relevant recommendations, and measuring the performance of our App);
In response to a request for information by a competent authority if we believe disclosure is in accordance with, or is otherwise required by, any applicable law, regulation, or legal process;
With law enforcement officials, government authorities, or other third parties if we believe your actions are inconsistent with our User agreements, Terms of Service, or policies, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Users, Ezyloads / TRANSO or others;
In connection with, or during negotiations of, any merger, sale of company assets, consolidation or restructuring, financing, or acquisition of all or a portion of our business by or into another company;
If we otherwise notify you and you consent to the sharing; and
In an aggregated and/or anonymized form where reasonable steps have been taken to ensure the data does not contain your personally identifying information.
Analytics and Advertising Services Provided by Ezyloads, TRANSO and Others
User Account Information
You may modify your account information at any time by logging into your registered account through our WebApp or Mobile app. If you wish to cancel your account, please email us at email@example.com. Please note that in some cases we may retain certain information about you as required by law, or for legitimate business purposes to the extent permitted by law.
Occasionally Ezyloads and TRANSO will push targeted advertisements and promotional messages to the App for all users.
Protecting your privacy
The Internet is a global environment and using the Internet to collect and process personal information necessarily involves the transmission of data on an international basis. By browsing this Website you acknowledge and agree to our processing of personal information in this way. We accept no responsibility or liability for the security of personal information transmitted via the Internet.
The security of our systems
We use third party vendors and hosting partners to provide the necessary hardware, software, networking, storage, and related technology required to provide the service. These may be located at destinations outside the country in which Ezyloads / TRANSO or the User operates. By submitting your personally identifying information, you agree to this. We use commercially reasonable physical and technical safeguards to secure your data. However, we cannot guarantee the security of your data, which may be compromised by unauthorized entry or use, hardware or software failure, and other factors.
